A Mission Inspired by Experience

Light and Mind Nutrition was founded by Aisha Hassan-Davis, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).

My passion for health and healing was shaped by both personal experiences and years of caring for patients across multiple healthcare settings. Witnessing family members and close friends struggle with chronic wounds, serious illnesses, amputations, and loss inspired me to learn more about the role nutrition can play in supporting overall wellness and the body’s natural recovery processes.

These experiences became the foundation for Light and Mind Nutrition.

A Career Dedicated to Healing

For more than a decade, I have cared for patients in a variety of clinical settings. My professional experience includes:

  • Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
  • Registered Nurse
  • Surgical Step-Down Nursing
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing
  • Wound Care Clinical Rotations
  • Burn Clinic Clinical Rotations
  • Inpatient Psychiatry
  • Outpatient Behavioral Health

These experiences provided firsthand insight into the challenges patients face during recovery and reinforced my belief that healing involves more than treating disease. Recovery is supported by quality medical care, nutrition, movement, emotional well-being, and strong support systems.

Why I Created Recovery+

Recovery+ was thoughtfully developed to provide key nutrients that support:

  • Healthy skin*
  • Normal collagen formation*
  • Connective tissue health*
  • Everyday nutritional wellness*
  • The body’s natural recovery processes*

Every ingredient was selected with care and purpose. Recovery+ is intended to complement a healthy lifestyle and appropriate medical care—it is not intended to replace medical treatment or make promises of specific outcomes.
